Job Description: Humane Education Supervisor, Chandigarh Tri-City

Peedu’s People is a 501c3 organization registered in Texas, USA and a registered NGO in India
since 2014.

We are seeking a ‘Humane Education Supervisor’ in the Chandigarh Tri-City Area. The role
involves overseeing educational programs that promote kindness, empathy, and responsible
behavior towards animals. The objective is to Strategize, Organize and Implement a Humane
Education Program in educational institutions with the intent of developing empathy and
compassion in children towards all living beings.

Location: Chandigarh, Tri-City Area
Work Timings: Fulltime, 5 ½ days a week
Education Requirements: Graduate
Salary: Commensurate with Experience

Your job will entail –

• Program and Curriculum Management:
  1. Design, develop, and deliver humane education programs for schools and colleges.
  2. Develop age-appropriate curriculum materials that align with educational standards and
     promote understanding of animal welfare issues.

   

• Supervision and Training:
  1. Provide guidance, support, and training to educators and volunteers.
  2. Supervise the sessions done by volunteers.

   

• Evaluation and Assessment:
  1. Implement assessment tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of the programs
     delivered.
  2. Analyze data and feedback to continuously report shifts and impact.

   

• Resource Management and Advocacy:
  1. Report writing for relevant stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with educators to integrate humane education into school curricula.
  3. Stay informed about current trends and research in humane education.

You should apply if you have –

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. B’Ed is a plus.
• Passion for animal welfare and interested in humane education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to make your delivery fun and interactive both in English and Hindi.

There is local travel involved in this job. Having your own conveyance is a must.
