Cleanliness Drives

Cleanliness Drives

We envision a world where every individual takes responsibility for their surroundings, leading to cleaner, healthier communities and a thriving planet. Through education, engagement, and action, we strive to make a lasting difference in the fight for the environment.

Punjab University

Every Thursday, we organise cleanliness drives at the Students Center in Punjab University. These initiatives aim to inspire students to maintain the cleanliness of their university and promote the segregation of wet and dry waste. Join us in fostering a sense of responsibility towards our environment and creating a cleaner, more sustainable campus for ourselves.

We have been conducting drives at the Panjab University since 2016 and have had over 150 volunteers from the university. We have also collected signatures from students to convince the PU management to start the wet and dry segregation bins in collaboration with NSS.

We have had senior citizens from the senior citizen’s center in sector 15 and school-children participate in our drives to create awareness that we should all pick up after ourselves.

Sukhna Lake

Our mission is to preserve the beauty of Sukhna Lake by ensuring it stays clean and free of single-use plastic. We engage with both Chandigarh residents and tourists to promote awareness and participation.

Our cleanliness drives are integrated with a cyclathon, and we cap off the event with a vegan meal.

Not only do we address the immediate need for cleanliness, but also facilitate conversations about alternative ways to contribute to environmental conservation.
